2026 Kia EV4 Sedan is coming to the US: Can it destroy the 3 Tesla model?

KIA will bring its new Sedan EV4 Electric to the US in 2026, after the initial start in South Korea and Europe. This is great news for American buyers EV, as it was not guaranteed when the company first discovered the EV4 concept in October 2023.

Kia did not confirm the range or prices for the US, but says EV4 will be an affordable sedan, which would set it about $ 35,000 to $ 40,000. The WLTP’s European scale range operates from 267 miles to 391 miles, but we can expect EPA to appreciate it a little lower. We would estimate about 250 to 350 miles.

It loads in just 30 minutes, and by 2026, EV will have access to Tesla Superchargers. Kia is working to enable all its lineup with these by spring. EV can also strengthen your home and equipment through its car functionality (V2L) and vehicle vehicle (V2G).

Can EV4 persuade Americans to buy sedan again? The market is almost completely oriented towards the most popular SUVs. There are very few electric sedas in the market, especially the affordable ones.

The main competitors of EV4 will be Hyundai Ioniq 6 (38k $, 240-291 miles) and Tesla Model 3 (42.5k $, 282-363 miles). The two have been on the market for several years, so maybe Kia can reign the segment with a fresh, new opportunity.

The purpose of KIA for EV4 is to “expand the EV appeal and to help accelerate the widespread adoption of EV” and create a “sustainable future where electric mobility is accessible to all,” he says. Although EV4 looks a lot like the EV6 intersection, it will be at a more accessible price point and apparently slightly smaller.

With technology wise, the cabin features a 30-inch, wide screen and an innovative storage solution on the center keyboard, shown below. DASH will provide transmission and connectivity services, such as YouTube and Netflix, apparently with a reconciliation. Drivers will be able to open the car with a digital key (their phone or Apple Watch).

The car will receive regular over-air updates over the driver’s mobile phone, a new KIA skill. “Otta’s distant update allows customers to make updates from distance through their mobile phones and connect smoothly to their vehicles,” Kia says. “Moreover, the innovative connection function also enables customers to benefit from new screen topics, such as NBA and Disney -related content to fix the vehicle.”

In terms of self-direction features, KIA EV4 will come with a variety of autonomous management assistants and a new “Advanced Highway Advanced Highway Assist 2” (HDA2) “version. The company hopes to qualify the vehicle for high security estimates, including the five -star NCAP security evaluation and the highest IIHS security election.

Kia also debuted a version of the EV4 cap and the EV2 concept vehicle this week. Both are planned only for a European departure at this point, Car and driver Reports.
